Resiliency Center To Offer December Days of HealingThe Resiliency Center of Newtown, founded to provide services, programs and events to assist in the healing process for anyone in the greater Newtown community impacted by the events of 12/14, will have extended hours and special programs on December 13-14.The Resiliency Center of Newtown (RCN) will be holding two December Days of Healing.On Friday and Saturday, December 13-14, the center, at 153 South Main Street, will be open from 9 am to 5 pm.All are invited to stop in or spend a few hours with staff members. The Newtown Parent Connection’s (NPC) founder said the messages shared with local students at the group’s November 7 forum on the dangers of vaping was so powerful that word is spreading to other districts hoping to engage the same program.
Clocks of any type should be avoided because the word for clock sounds a lot like the word for the funeral ritual. Clocks also are a reminder that time is running out and are considered a reminder that life will come to an end.
This is great for the Police Department! I guess when you are a small town and don't have many detectives, it helps to have extra people to get evidence! I am surprised though that police officers can have such long hair. I guess it's not as military as I thought. Officer Wickman is so involved in so many things I don't know how he has time to do it all! Congrats Officers!
