The phones are ringing off the hook at Ridgefield Theater Barn, and for good reason: Joe Simonelli’s "Old Ringers" is on stage for a full-on hilarious evening of theater.

The American Kennel Club’s Museum of the Dog will officially open its doors in New York City on Friday, February 8, 2019, at its new location, 101 Park Ave, the Kalikow building, a short walk from Grand Central Station.

They battle for three periods of hard-hitting — in the case of the most recent matchup, penalty-filled — fast-paced action on the ice. But the hockey programs from Newtown High School and Joel Barlow of Redding work together off the ice to raise money for Wounded Warrior Project. The players compete for the Warrior Cup, and money raised at the gate is contributed to Wounded Warrior Project.

For Dolores Meehan, who has been a patient at Newtown Rehabilitation & Health Care Center since Christmas Eve, the canine that has visited her a few times has brought her great joy. Bella, a lab-boxer who was rescued by neighbor Donna Marschalk a year ago, may have also saved the life of the Newtown resident.
