Thomas N. Judge died peacefully on January 15, 2023, in New London, New Hampshire, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Clinton, Michigan, on January 12, 1936, to Edward and Marvel Judge. Tom was the youngest son with two older brothers, John and Charlie. He grew up in Clinton and went to Clinton High School where he met the love of his life, Margie (Greenfield). They were married for 65 wonderful years.

Tom received his BS degree from Eastern Michigan University, where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. After graduation he honorably served two years in the United States Army, spending one year in Korea.

Tom and Marge decided to move out east and raise their family in Newtown, Connecticut. Tom spent 35 years in education as a teacher and an administrator in Westport, Connecticut, at Bedford Junior High School where he was beloved by the staff and students.

Tom was a man of many talents. Not only could he make most anything out of wood, he was also a fine artist. As a hobby he was a collector of sailing ships, toy cars, tractors, and airplanes. One of his passions was working on old MGs and TRs and making them into shiny sports cars. Tom and Marge even joined the MG club and traveled with fellow MG enthusiasts. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with his son-in-law and grandson and also his good friends. Tom could also sing well and sang in the church choir with Marge. The list goes on and on of all his talents.

They have enjoyed a wonderful retirement living on Perkins Pond in Sunapee, New Hampshire, where he designed their beautiful lake house. Tom and Marge were adventurers and were very fortunate to travel around the world. But most of all he enjoyed his family, friends, and especially his grandkids. He loved teaching his grandkids how to fish, water ski, and loved to watch them downhill ski.

Tom will always be remembered as a happy, loving, devoted husband, dad, and grandpa. We will all dearly miss his infectious smile, witty jokes, and big hugs, but we will always have the great memories we shared.

Tom is survived by his wife, Marge; children, Laura Judge (Lisa Eaton) and Leslie Judge Trudell (George Trudell); and grandchildren, Trey Julia and Haley Trudell. Tom also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Julia Judge; parents, Edward and Marvel Judge; and his brothers, John and Charlie Judge.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 11 am at South Congregational Church, 20 Church Street, Newport, N.H. Later in May, another memorial service will be held in Clinton, Michigan.

Memorial contributions may be made to South Congregational Church, 20 Church Street, Newport NH 03773.
