A Special Visitor

To the Editor:

For the second year in a row, Danbury Hospital’s pediatric and oncology patients were treated to a special visit by “Santa” this past December — Newtown’s very own Howard Lasher.

Assisted by a few of his caring elves, Howard visited both units, bringing smiles, a small gift and good cheer to patients, visitors, and staff members alike. His desire to share the joy of the season with our patients is another example of the caring community we are fortunate enough to live and work in. My sincere thanks to Howard Lasher and the various individuals and organizations that also reached out to our patients this holiday season.
