Bonnie Benedetti Fusé, 72, of Fairfield, beloved wife of Joseph Fusé, died January 31 at home. She was born in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Louise (Delvecchio) and James Benedetti.

In addition to her devoted husband, she will be lovingly remembered by her children, Gary Zemola of Newtown, James Zemola, and his wife Christine, of Fairfield, Sandra Zemola of Stratford, Sharon Lynn Zemola of Milford, Joseph G. Fusé, and his wife Sheila, of Anna Maria Island, Fla., and Christopher Fusé, and his wife Megan, of Hopkinton, Mass. Four grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Covert and Patricia Graham; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives survive Ms Fusé. A sister, Nancy Kells-Murphy, predeceased her.

A talented artist in so many ways, Ms Fusé was truly creative while working with paint, food, flowers, or just about anything she got her hands on. Her entrepreneurial vision made many of her life successes possible, including the co-founding of Fairfield Lighting & Design, her former practice as a realtor, as well as establishing and operating the Rose Garden, a floral design and retail shop in Wilton, until her retirement in 2011.

She was a member of Patterson Country Club in Fairfield, and was most passionate about her family and friends. Her memory will be embraced by all who knew her.

Calling hours will take place Monday, February 3, from 4 to 8 pm, at Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, February 4, at 11 am, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Society of Clinical Oncology at ASCO.org.
