The Working Women’s Forum, an association of local professionals and entrepreneurs, will feature “How To Build Your Business on Social Media in 14 Minutes a Day,” with guest Kate Fitzpatrick.

Local professionals and entrepreneurs are encouraged to join the group for the talk on Wednesday, March 11, at The Villa Restaurant, 4 Riverside Road in Sandy Hook.

Ms Fitzpatrick (pictured at right) has a background in public relations, website management, and publishing. Her company, Kate Fitzpatrick Consulting, includes clients in the industries of health and wellness, travel, real estate, and the crowdfunding space.

The presentation will focus on how to most efficiently use Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter for business, and explain which platforms are most effective for different industries. The speaker will provide a structure for building business networks and share tips on social media productivity.

The program and dinner fee is $10 for members and $25 for nonmembers, along with a cash bar. And the group gratefully accepts canned food, personal health and beauty items for the Newtown FAITH Food Pantry.

Networking and light dinner begins at 6pm followed by the guest speaker. To register, contact WWF President Pat Marlin at rsvp@workingwomensforum.net or call 203-426-7022.
