The next meeting of The Genealogy Club of Newtown is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10.

This month’s speaker will be Paul Hadzima, who will present “Researching New Jersey Ancestors.”

Mr Hadzima is the president of Naugatuck Valley Genealogy Club and also The Genealogy Cub of Newtown. He is a member of The Czechoslovak Genealogy Society as well as The Genealogy Society of New Jersey.

He has been researching his roots in New Jersey for more than 20 years and will have many tips to share for those who are researching their ancestors from that area.

Genealogy Club of Newtown meetings start promptly at 7 pm in the library’s meeting room. Those planning to attend are invited to arrive early for socializing and light refreshments.

Club membership information is also available before and after meetings, which are held on the second Wednesday evening of each month, September through June.

Reservations are not needed to attend club meetings, but information is available from Bea Morgan, at 203-304-1861.
