Local Financial Consultant Earns Sales Title

DANBURY — A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc, a national brokerage firm based in St Louis, recently announced that Mark J. Simms has been named associate vice president-investments. Mr Simms is a financial consultant in the firm’s Danbury office.

A graduate of Western Connecticut State University, Mr Simms has been a financial consultant for 12 years. He joined A.G. Edwards in 1994.

Mr Simms is a member of the board of governors of Newtown Country Club and is a team leader for AmeriCares HomeFront. He and his wife Diane reside in New Fairfield with their three daughters.
