Spring Bird Walks

Being Offered At Kellogg Center

DERBY — The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection’s Kellogg Environmental Center offers bird walks twice a month on Friday evenings in April and May for birders and their families.

Participants should meet the Kellogg Environmental Center parking lot on Hawthorne Avenue on April 7 and 14, and May 12 and 19 at 5:30 pm.

Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars and field guides. Osbornedale State Park/Kellogg Estate Bird Checklists will be provided free to participants.

The Kellogg Environmental Center is at 500 Hawthorne Avenue (off Route 34), adjacent to Osbornedale State Park in Derby. This program is free and registration is not required.
