BPW To Meet On June 7
âThe ABCâs of Wine Tastingâ will be the program at the Business and Professional Womenâs club meeting on Monday, June 7, at McLaughlin Vineyards in Sandy Hook.
Learn the art and science of wine tasting as well as how soil, region, and winemaking techniques affect wine. Also learn how to properly serve and store wine, and how grapes are grown and wine is made.
Registration begins at 6 pm. A buffet dinner will begin at 6:30 pm. Dessert will be made by the BPW scholarship winner, Charlene Maring-Sayegh of The Country Patisserie.
Reservations are required by Friday, June 4, by calling Kelly Urso at 364-1667. The cost of the dinner is $25. The event will be held rain or shine.
McLaughlin Vineyards is at 14 Albertâs Hill Road.
The Newtown Business and Professional Womenâs Club is a nonprofit organization that promotes the interests of business and professional women, providing them with an opportunity for networking. The club sponsors scholarships to help women who are changing or advancing their careers.
