Learn About Youth Writing Programs At C.H. Booth Library

Parent and children in grades 6 through 8 are invited to attend an introductory meeting, Monday, June 7, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, in the Third Floor Antiques Room, at the C.H. Booth Library, to learn about the summer Creative Writing Camp and the poetry, mystery, and fiction writing groups that meet during the school year.

Rising sixth grade students are eligible to take part, starting in July.

The summer program, for sixth, seventh, and eighth grader students, is a peer group for young people who love to write and want to share their writing with others.

Meet the leaders and assistants for the various writing groups, as well as students currently involved in the programs, at the June 7 meeting.

Sign up at chboothlibrary.org, drop in, or call young adult librarian Margaret Brown at 203-426-4533 for more information.
