Timothy P. Dubee

Lifelong Sandy Hook Resident

Timothy P. Dubee, 53, of the Sandy Hook section of Newtown, died May 29, at his home, after a long illness. He was born in Bridgeport, February 26, 1957, a son of Mary Louise (Rivers) and Joseph Dubee of Sandy Hook.

Mr Dubee was educated in Newtown schools and was a graduate of Henry Abbott Technical School. Before his illness, he was employed by the Connecticut State Police at Fairfield Hills Hospital and Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown.

He was an avid antique car collector, enjoyed fishing, and was a member of the NRA.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Kathleen Braatz of Southbury; and four nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeffrey and Thomas Dubee.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 5, at 9 am (Directly), in St Rose of Lima Church. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. There are no calling hours.

Honan Funeral Home, Newtown, is in charge of arrangements.
