The Baha’is of Newtown are hosting a weekly online series on “Spiritual Resilience.” The series is a Facebook Live event from the Baha’is of Newtown Facebook page, Sundays at 1 pm. Each class begins with an interfaith devotional, “with quotes and prayers from the world’s great religions that speak to the them of the day,” according to John Woodall. After the devotional, the class will begin.

June 21, Pastor Bill Meyer will lead the worship service, with special precautions: he will not be proceeding in through or recessing from the front of the sanctuary, there will be just one person in the altar area, and Communion will not take place this Sunday; also June 21, no Adult Bible Study.

Compline Services every Wednesday at 7 pm. Private communion services are available at the church by appointment; contact Pastor Morris for an appointment.

Adath Israel will continue live-streaming service every Saturday morning until further notice. Videos from previous services are available on the synagogue’s Facebook page (click on Videos). Hebrew School registration, for students entering grades K-7 in the 2020-21 school year, is open; visit the website for details. The CAI Caring Committee will continue to reach out to members who might need help of some kind. The synagogue’s leaders are also hoping to reschedule canceled events at a later date, she added.
