Charlotte L. Clark

Charlotte L. Clark, 85, wife of the late Joseph Clark of Nunnawauk Meadows, Newtown, died June 30 in Danbury Hospital.

Mrs Clark was born in Berlin, Germany, January 14, 1918, a daughter of the late Hans and Lomny (Gutsche) Roemer. She was a secretary for the Town of Darien until her retirement.

Mrs Clark was a resident of Newtown the past 15 years and was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Brookfield.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Carol Clark of Parsippany, N.J.; two step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, July 8, in Prince of Peace Church, Brookfield. Burial will be in Prince of Peace Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Route 133, Brookfield, CT 06804. Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, was in charge of arrangements.
