Occupation: I’m the mechanic for Newtown Parks & Recreation.

Pets: I have a boxer/lab mix named Stella and a turtle named Clark.

How long have you lived in Newtown? I have lived in Newtown for 21 years. I moved here for middle school and have been here ever since.

What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time, I enjoy off-roading, camping, and working on my house.

What is your favorite travel destination? Either Rausch Creek Off-Road Park or Denver, Colorado.

What is the best part about Newtown? The best part of Newtown is the small town feel. It’s a beautiful place with a lot of spots to explore.

What organizations are you part of in Newtown? I’m a lieutenant with [Newtown Hook & Ladder Volunteer Fire Company]. I’ve been there for the last 15 years.

Who has been the greatest influence in your life? My grandfather and mom have both been great influences for me. Both are hard workers who taught me my work ethic. My grandfather was also the chief of Banksville Independent Fire Co, and his stories of being there are the reason I joined Hook & Ladder.

If you could spend the day with one person, who would you choose and why? I would choose my great-grandmother. She was like my partner-in-crime growing up, letting me take apart anything and everything, even though most things never went back together in the same way.

Who is your favorite musical artist? I’d have to say Caamp would be my favorite band right now. I was supposed to see them at Red Rocks Amphitheater this month, but COVID changed my plans.

What is something you cannot live without? My friends and family.

What is your proudest accomplishment? Becoming lieutenant at the firehouse.
