Seminar Planned For

Epilepsy Patients & Caregivers

BETHEL — Associated Neurologists, PC, will host an educational seminar, “Living with Epilepsy: Education for a Better Tomorrow,” a free one-hour program for patients and caregivers who are interested in learning more about various options for treating and managing epilepsy.

The seminar will be presented on Monday, August 14, starting at 6:30 pm. It will be at Ability Beyond Disability (Room 115), 4 Berkshire Road.

Robert Bonwetsch, MD, of Associated Neurologists will be available to answer questions. Refreshments will be served.

People with epilepsy and parents of children with epilepsy can attend the seminar to learn more about topics including: what epilepsy is, how many people have the disease and what causes it, how epilepsy is evaluated, what the seizure types are, what the goals of treatment are, how epilepsy is treated, how it can be managed, and what the Epilepsy Bill of Rights is.
