Riverâs Art At Easton Library
EASTON â Edith Wheeler Memorial Library is hosting âCrossing Borders,â a collection of 25 paintings and handmade books by Sandy Hook artist Glen River.
The collections â the paintings are in the Ehlers Meeting Room and the handmade books are in a display case on the libraryâs main floor â will remain on view until September 30. The public is invited to meet Mr River during a reception on Friday, September 9, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, at the library, 733 Monroe Turnpike (Route 111).
âThe exhibition demonstrates [my] command of both traditional and new media technologies, and exemplifies the spirit of moving beyond limitations of genre, media or ideas within a defined border,â said Mr River. Representational and abstract works are included.
The library can be reached for additional information at 203-261-3359.
