Audrey Zalinger Locorotondo

Audrey Zalinger Locorotondo, 67, of Monroe, passed away peacefully at home on October 8, 2024 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born on April 24, 1957 in Bridgeport, to the late Charles and Shirley Zalinger.

Audrey graduated from Andrew Ward High School in 1975. She went on to earn an associate’s degree from Arizona Technical College in computer software engineering. She worked as a project manager for various companies including IBS, Meca, Taunton Press, and Epsilon/Publicis.

Audrey enjoyed baking with her friends and family and planning parties to bring people together. She volunteered for fourteen years with Women Involved in Newtown, including serving as the president. Audrey was heavily involved with CurePSP, PanCAN, and Relay for Life. She also participated in multiple breast cancer charity walks.

Audrey is survived by her beloved sons, Michael (Kelsey) of Cheshire and Jacob of Austin, Tex.; her siblings, Debi (Dick), Alfie (Marilyn), and Rob (Karen); as well as eight nieces and nephews and twelve great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 13, at 11 am, at Abraham L. Green & Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road in Fairfield. Calling hours will be at 10 am. For more information and to share a condolence message, visit greensfuneralhome.com.
