Amy made this world a better place and will be sorely missed by her family, friends, patients, co-workers and pets. Her generous and kind spirit has touched the lives of many. She always had an open door to those in need. Amy had an inner strength that was unmatched in her constant support of others. Amy would frequently greet others with a smile and, if you were lucky, a deep and comforting hug.

Amy worked hard to support her family and to achieve her dream job at Yale New Haven Health Maternal Fetal Medicine Center, where she helped many. Amy attended St Margaret’s-McTernan School and Newtown High School and briefly moved to Santa Cruz, California where she started her family.

Amy returned to Newtown, Connecticut in 2001 where she continued to raise her family. Amy volunteered and worked as an EMT at Newtown Volunteer Ambulance, Trumbull Emergency Medical Services, Danbury Ambulance Services and Bethel EMS.

Amy studied at Tunxis Community College and graduated from Gateway Community College in 2016 as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Amy was certified as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for Obstretics & Gynecology by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and worked as a sonographer at Waterbury Hospital, Stamford Hospital and PJS Medical Diagnostic, before starting at Yale in 2021.

Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get only with what you are expecting to give — which is everything.
