Standing With Senator Hwang

To the Editor:

I support Tony Hwang, Republican for State Senate, and here are the reasons why:

Tony is incredibly responsive to Newtown voters. He is always here. I swear he spends as much time in Newtown as in his hometown of Fairfield. He knows Newtown.

He knows every issue from all directions. Ask Tony about any issue and he will not only have the answer but the background as well.

He is a true conservative without being doctrinaire.

If you listen to political ads, the entire Democratic campaign playbook for this election seems to be that they can “work across the aisle” with Republicans.

I am skeptical of that claim, but I can assure everyone who reads this that Tony Hwang does in fact work across the aisle if that is what it takes to pass legislation that is beneficial to the residents of Newtown and the entire 28th Senate District.

I urge you to vote for Tony Hwang for Senate on November 8 — you will not regret it.

Sincerely,

Robert H. Hall

Newtown

(Editor’s Note: Doctrinaire — a person who seeks to impose a doctrine without regard to practical considerations.)

I encourage everyone to consider Captain Tim Gavin to replace Tony Hwang. It’s time for a change and Tim Gavin is that change!

Not the time for change engendered by ‘Capn Tim’.
