To the Editor:

We would like to send a big shout out and thank you to the following for making the New Beginnings/St Rose Tag Sale a huge success!

First to the Good Lord for blessing us with great weather on Saturday and then held off the rain Sunday until we were able to get the remaining items back in the garage.

Second, to all of our seventh and eighth grade catechism students who helped organize, price, check-out, and carry the purchases of our customers to their cars. Your politeness and enthusiasm were well-noted. Many thanks!

Third, our adult volunteers, Laura, Julie, Fran, Tracy, Dottie, and Laura, who organized what was a hot mess of stuff into a respectable shopping venue. Thanks for all your efforts this past weekend.

And lastly, to our customers, for your purchases, encouragement, good humor, and company. Together, we raised more than $1,900 for the Faith Food Pantry here on the St Rose campus. It just goes to show that you never know what you need until you find it at the New Beginnings/St Rose Tag Sale.
