To the Editor:

On November 5, let’s do the right thing for our community by reelecting Joan Plouffe to the Police Commission.

Joan is an advocate for Newtown, for her neighbors, and for our police department. She is committed to her position on the Police Commission. She is resilient, articulate, compassionate, and is always lending a helping hand. She is very detail oriented, organized, and thorough. She worked tirelessly to help get the new police station project approved by the voters. She is also the only woman on the Police Commission, which makes her voice so important. She is an asset to the Police Commission and to Newtown.
