Stephen and Rebecca Kowalski of Sandy Hook announce the birth of a daughter, Erin Elizabeth Kowalski, on September 19 at Danbury Hospital.

Mark and Chrissy Varholak of Newtown announce the birth of a son, Colton Graham Varholak, on October 13 at Bridgeport Hospital.

Colton weighed seven pounds and was 19¾ inches in length.

His maternal grandparents are Robert and Elisabeth Lorenz of Longview, Tex.

Colton’s paternal grandparents are Stephen and Judy Varholak of Milford.

His maternal great-grandparents are Mr and Mrs Anthony Lorenz of Ocala, Fla.
