Speaking at a candidates’ forum before an audience of approximately 150 on Tuesday, October 23, seven candidates for state General Assembly seats in the November 6 general elections explained their views on a range of public issues.

Police must release disturbing writings and other belongings of the Newtown school shooter to the public because they are not exempt from the state’s open record laws, the Connecticut Supreme Court ruled Tuesday, October 23.

About 3 am on Tuesday, October 23, Newtown police were dispatched to the area near the intersection of South Main Street and Bears Hill Road in Botsford to search for a traveling motor vehicle that had been reported stolen from Greenwich earlier that night.
