To the Editor:

On behalf of the Newtown Social Services Department and the clients we serve, I would like to give a very big thank you to the Newtown Savings Bank for their thoughtful, and very generous contribution to our food pantry. They not only made a very generous monetary contribution, they also ran a food drive and collected much-needed food items. We appreciate the community's efforts in helping maintain our food pantry, and are grateful for all donations. It is through donations such as these that we are able to continue to provide assistance to those in need. Thanks again, Newtown Savings Bank.
