To the Editor:

With November 7 coming upon us quickly, I would like to express my most profound support for my dad, Dan Rosenthal. My siblings and I believe wholeheartedly that he is the best man for first selectman.

Ever since my siblings and I were young - I really could not give you a specific age, probably since we were infants - our father has taught us the value of hard work and kindness. And I am fortunate enough to have been raised in a home where leadership and creativity are encouraged. Over the past six months, I have had the incredible opportunity of experiencing these qualities firsthand.

Of course, I have come to understand that the position of first selectman extends beyond commitment and compassion. Since my dad announced his candidacy back in May, my siblings and I have had the opportunity to accompany him to events around the community and listen to him talk about his ideas for the future of our town. We've been able to see that he truly has a vision. Our dad is a man with a plan. His ideas for long-term planning, economic development, and more advanced communication undoubtedly provide a fresh look for Newtown and will lead us in the right direction. Our dad loves Newtown and he wants nothing more than to serve the people that reside here.

So Emi, Ben, and I are asking for you to support dedication, kindness, creativity, and authentic vision. We hope that you'll vote for our dad, Dan Rosenthal, on November 7.
