Barbara Tortora to Mark Grochowski

Mrs Marie Tortora of Jeremiah Road, Sandy Hook, announces the engagement of her daughter, Barbara Tortora, to Mark Grochowski of Enfield.

Ms Tortora is a graduate of Newtown High School and received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Connecticut, and her orthopedic physical therapy certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. She is employed by Eastern Rehabilitation Network/Hartford Hospital as a utilization review manager and orthopedic clinical specialist.

Mr Grochowski is the son of Mr and Mrs Terrence Grochowski of Vernon. He is a graduate of Rockville High School and received his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Connecticut. He is employed by Thales Broadcast and Multimedia in Southwick, Mass., where he is a senior radio frequency systems engineer.

After a May wedding and honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will reside in Enfield.
