Choral Society Needs A Few Non-Singers

Newtown Choral Society announces an open call for the non-singing parts of narrator, usher and Magistrate for its spring concert presentation of  John Rutter’s  Wind in The Willows.

There are also solo singing parts for a tenor, a bass, a baritone and a mezzo-soprano as well as openings in all voices (SATB) for the chorus.

Rutter’s Wind in The Willows, a musical interpretation of the Kenneth Grahame classic children’s book, is an adventure story set in early 20th Century Britain and features the lovable animal citizens of an English Riverbank.

Anyone interested should contact Laura Lerman at 426-3769, send her an email at lel-choir@se-ltd.com, or attend the first rehearsal for the concert on Wednesday, January 24, at 7 pm, at Newtown Middle School.
