Roles Still Available For ‘Company’

SHERMAN — Actors are invited to audition for Company, scheduled as the first production of the Sherman Players’ 2001 season, on Sunday, January 21, from 7 to 9 pm, at Sherman Playhouse, on Routes 37 and 39 (behind the firehouse).

Roles for men are still available; women also are welcome to audition. The script requires a cast of six men and eight women ages 20 to 50 and one female dancer over age 17.

Actors should bring a musical selection of their choice and will be asked to show ability to do simple dance movements on stage.

Lanny Mitchell is the director of the Stephen Sondheim musical.

Show dates are Friday and Saturday nights, April 5 through May 5, plus two Sunday matinees to be scheduled.

Call Lori Metcalf at 860/350-3055 for more information. She is co-producer, with Phoebe Hodge, of the production.
