The upcoming meeting of the Garden Club of Newtown will feature a presentation titled “Decorate a Tote Bag.” This program is scheduled for Tuesday, January 28, at 1 pm, in the Olga Knoepke Meeting Room of C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.

This program will be presented by Kerri Williams, and is free and open to the public.

Ms Williams will lead the hands-on craft, and participants will go home with a tote bag they have designed themselves.

Using stamps and sponges, participants may choose to decorate their bags with floral themes. Then, to show their environmental awareness, they will be able to demonstrate their reusable bag around town, showing off their creativity and love of gardening.

Registration is not required. A $5 donations are requested for supplies.
