Ben’s Lighthouse will host an evening of music with The Flagpole Radio Café Orchestra on Saturday, March 18, at 7 pm. Proceeds from the concert will benefit Ben’s Lighthouse and its Isle of Skoo summer camp.

The performance will be at Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street.

The Flagpole Radio Café Orchestra ensemble consists of musicians Jim Allyn, Rick Brodsky, Howie Carlough, Cadence Carroll, Richard Neal and Francine Wheeler.

For over a decade, the band has won the hearts of many in Newtown for their performances of bluegrass, swing, folk, and more. Francine Wheeler, Ben’s Lighthouse creative director and the creator of The Isle of Skoo, sings with the band.

The evening will feature special guests who will be familiar to Flagpole Radio Café audiences, including the latest edition of the always hilarious Flagpole Radio News.

Ben’s Lighthouse will share the latest news about the organization’s accomplishments and plans for the future, and a 50/50 raffle and silent auction will also be conducted to help further all Ben’s Lighthouse work and outreach.

Standard concert tickets are $30, while VIP tickets are $100 and include a 6 pm cocktail hour and the opportunity to meet and mingle with the evening’s performers.
