Students Spending Summer Near And Far

From crossing a river in Cancun, Mexico, on a zipline to venturing to Springfield, Mass., for a concert with the family, Newtown students were all smiles in photo submissions from the summer.

Families and students were first solicited to share photos from summer adventures in multiple print editions of The Newtown Bee and online through The Bee’s Facebook page. The deadline for submissions was July 30.

Families and students who have more photos to share from August summer trips — even if it was just a day trip out of town — are invited to send them to Eliza@thebee.com before August 20 for a future photo spread to feature what students have been doing to pass their time during the 2010 summer break.
