Program Targets Women And Heart  Disease

WATERBURY — The Be Well Center of Waterbury Hospital, located in the Brass Mill Center mall, is offering a program to help women cut their risk of heart disease.

Women are invited to have their complete cholesterol checked at the Center during September and save $3 off the regular $15 price. Then they can participate in an informal discussion, titled “Women Take Heart!” at 3:30 pm, September 27 in the seminar room adjacent to The Be Well Center. Led by Rebecca Brienza, MD, the program will address ways in which women can reduce their risk of developing heart disease.

For more information or to register for the program, call 203/575-0730 or visit the center on the second level of the mall, adjacent to Sears.
