Mr And Mrs James P. Tani

Jennifer Lee Perry and James Peter Tani were united in marriage on June 26 at the Newtown Methodist Church with the Rev Terry Pfeiffer officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Cindi Grubisa of Newtown.

The groom is the son of Paul and Carol Tani of Sandy Hook.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

She wore a white gown and carried a bouquet of white roses with mixed summer flowers.

The maid of honor was Kristina McDonagh of North Carolina. She wore a cobalt blue gown and carried a bouquet of summer flowers.

The bridesmaids were Lisa Grubisa of Newtown, and Jennifer Haggerty and Denise Corris of Sandy Hook. They wore cobalt blue gowns and carried bouquets of summer flowers.

The best man was Allan Lewis of Sandy Hook. Ushers included Anthony Capozziello, Rob Haggerty, and Paul Tani, all of Sandy Hook.

The bride graduated from Newtown High in 1996. She is employed as a teacher for Kindercare in Bethel.

The groom graduated from Newtown High in 1992. He is employed by the Parks and Recreation Department for the Town of Newtown.

The reception was held at the Actors Colony in Seymour.

The couple enjoyed their honeymoon on a southern Caribbean cruise.

Mr and Mrs Tani are living in Sandy Hook.
