To the Editor:

It is a great pleasure to endorse our Legislative Councilman Mitch Bolinsky for state representative in the 106th District. When I first met Mitch, he was serving as Pack Committee chairman for the Newtown Cub Scouts. Previously, he had served as Cub master and den leader. Mitch has also served on the Economic Development Commission and Board of Ethics. Currently, besides his Legislative Council role, he serves as a justice of the peace.

Whatever organization Mitch volunteers for, he is always is the first one to roll up his sleeves and get to work. Mitch brings to his candidacy for state representative broad experience in dealing with boards and commissions here in Newtown. He also has earned the reputation of being thoroughly prepared when discussing issues and being flexible as a colleague.

I am very encouraged by Mitch’s commitment when he begins to serve in Hartford to fiscally responsible spending. These are the value-added competencies we need in our next state representative in the 106th District. Please join me in supporting Mitch Bolinsky on November 6.

Sincerely,

Bill Brimmer
