Allow Children To Be Children

To the Editor:

Why is it that children are not allowed to be children? It is for such a very short time. Imagine a 4-r-year-old in morning nursery school/play group etc a few days a week who would now have to get on a bus at 8:30 and not return home until 4 if the full-day kindergarten were put in place as will happen if this budget passes.

There is also the prospect of nine more teachers and classrooms as well as additional buses. Taxes!

For the first time in 40 years I am urging you to vote No on the budget.
