Romance Writers Meeting, May 12

SOUTHBURY — Lisa Gardner, the author of The New York Times best sellers The Other Daughter and The Third Victim, will discuss plotting at the next meeting of the Connecticut chapter of Romance Writers of America. The group will be at Southbury Public Library on Saturday, May 12. The program, which is open to non-members free of charge, begins at noon.

Following a successful career writing Silhouette Romance novels under the pen name Alicia Scott, Ms Gardner wrote the mainstream romantic novel The Perfect Husband before going on the pen the best-sellers mentioned above.

Ms Gardner graduated magna cum laude from University of Pennsylvania in 1993 with a degree in international relations. She and her husband currently live in Massachusetts.

Following the program at the library, Ms Gardner will be the guest at Waldenbooks in Southbury Plaza, where she will be signing copies of her books from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. Contact Leslie O’Grady for details concerning the RWA meeting, 860-666-1848.
