Virginia Fagan Rockwell, 89, of Fairfield, died September 12. She was the beloved wife of the late Sidney D. Rockwell. Born in Bridgeport to Edward and Christine Mulvey Fagan, she was a graduate of Central High School.

She is survived by her son, Sidney D. Rockwell and his wife, Lynda, and granddaughter, Jessica, of Sandy Hook; and a son, John Rockwell and his wife, Atsuko, and granddaughter, Julia, of Fairfield. She was predeceased by her son, Brian; and a granddaughter, Tamarin.

A longtime Fairfield resident and a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Mrs Rockwell was the office manager for Parrot Real Estate and later employed by the Fairfield Store.

Graveside services were held September 15 in St Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford.

Arrangements were by the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
