Regional Hospice Hosted Newtown Community Members, More, At Good Morning Community Breakfast

On March 17, community members gathered for Regional Hospice’s first Good Morning Community Breakfast at The Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury. In keeping with the holiday spirit, guests were treated not only to plenty of green, they also heard from Celtic Cross Pipes & Drums. Guest speaker Tiffany Barrett shared the story of her late mother Joan, who spent her final days at the Regional Hospice center in Danbury before dying of pancreatic cancer in May 2021.

Monsignor Robert Weiss is the retired pastor of St Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church. He gave the opening prayer during the breakfast.
Members of Newtown Lions Club attended the breakfast as well. There, the Lions presented a check to Regional Hospice. From left were Jerry Cole, Kevin Corey, Regional Hospice Ambassador ToniAnn Marchione, Jordan D’Amico, and Peter McNulty.
